Here you go Rick, some photos of the beaching trolley and stands. They went together very easy with the use of PVA wood glue. I decided to paint them with Gunze H66 Sandy Brown instead of using oils, I still need to spray them with a matt clear. The trolley fits the hull beautifully and the stands can be positioned to suit your own preferences. The top wing is nearly done, just need to add the red and green to the under side then a coat of satin clear.

When welcoming new members I often mention that I find the forum inspirational. Your work on this Macchi, Des, is exactly the sort of thing I have in mind when saying this. Glorious, just glorious!

Best wishes
Nigel

Des, Spectacular work! This is certainly a lovely scheme! I am glad to hear that at least the stands and trolley fit  :o Your painting of the wings and fuselage are just gorgeous!

Thanks very much Scott for following along and leaving very kind comments.

I made and added the wing floats, the float brackets are made from 0.5mm copper wire while the floats are made from styrene sheet. In my opinion the suspended floats look better than the floats fitted directly to the wing which are supplied with the kit. Note that the propeller has also been painted and is now fitted to the engine.

This is such an impressive build Des--despite problems with the kit you have created a beautiful and highly appealing replica of this handsome aircraft.  Thanks for showing us the way.  Very well done!

Regards,

Bob
