As for how they are attached to the rudder I have no info.
The ailerons are connected to each other by a rigid bar and controlled by cables which come out of the wings by a pulley. One at the top, one at the bottom.
The exact position of the cables ... between the mats, on the same side, on both sides etc etc I did at best.
The Pitot tube (well, I think that's it).
The plane is fixed to its base, there are so many cables that moving the plane is difficult. The wings are so long that they deform when I lift it. This eventually breaks the cables.
So I put two fishing lines through the base and I put them through each wheel, passing between two rays, knots and some glue.
