    Not to put to shame all the "Beamers", Bugattis, Jags, and Porsches etc. however I thought I'd show my wheels here as well. First, my personal everyday mode of "go to town" transport, 6.7  8 cylinder Turbo Diesel with leather interior, full back seat, and 12,000 pound winch on the deer catcher up front. A little thirsty but if someone runs into me I should win most times.

   I started as a young fella with an MGA Coupe followed by a 64 and a half first year Ford Mustang, and look at me now! You can take the boy off the farm but you can never take the farm out of the boy they say.

Guess I will add to the list.  My current daily driver is this black on black 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS.

The car I had prior to that was a 2002 Monte Carlo SS Limited Edition Pacecar, in mint condition until I was rear-ended on the highway on the way to work, but that's another story...

A fun car back in the 1990's was this 1985 Chevrolet Cavalier convertible.

and the first new car that I bought in 1987, a Chevrolet El Camino SS with the rare Choo Choo Customs SS nose conversion.  I still have this one, but it is currently in my garage waiting until I can afford to restore it.

 Besides my daily driver of a 2012 Scion XB, I own a 1912 Pioneer cyclecar built by the American Manufacturing Company in Chicago. I bought this as an investment but I am currently selling it due to unemployment. In 1911 William H. McIntyre commissioned a young engineer, named William Bushnell Stout, to design the 1912 model Pioneer as his first major project. Stout later went on to form the Stout Metal Airplane Company which designed and built the Ford Trimotor.
  AMC started in 1910 but closed production in 1914 due to the onset of WW1 and mainly competition from the Ford model T. My vehicle has the original Monarch engine and transmission. It is the only AMC Pioneer survivor of any year made. William McIntyre did open a factory in Indiana from 1913 to 1914. He stretched the wheelbase by four inches and changed the seating arrangement from two side by side bucket seats to one bucket seat and a rear bench seat. He renamed this version the Imp. There are two Imp survivors. One is in the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum.
  You can view many photos of my cyclecar if you Google "1912 Pioneer cyclecar". The selling price is well below the appraised value. Maybe you know a serious collector or museum that might want this rare vehicle. If so , please send me a PM. Thanks, Barry.

I have a mate in Australia who has two McIntyre high-wheelers, which I assume are a distant relation to your car?

I've only owned 2 cars, a 1972 MGB Roadster which I restored and owned for 10 years - sold to pay for my pilot's licence.....



I drove that car through France, Germany and Holland, and visited Verdun with it....I'd love to get another....my 2nd car is my current 2007 Hyundai Sonata. Boring but practical....

Then there's my bike, a 1978 Ducati 900 GTS which has been in storage for the last 7 years in North Carolina until I can get down there to get it. I've owned it since 1985 and brought it over fron the UK. It, too, is totally restored - or was when it went into storage, no idea what condition it's in now...







Not sure if I should sell it - it needs to be used and I don't have the time or money to go and get it....

On Saturday I will be exchanging Rachel the Rover for Jennifer the Jaguar.

She's a 2007 S-type XS Diesel. 2.7 litre, twin-turbo, 204HP 6-speed auto with all the bells and whistles. One previous owner, full service history etc.
