Well...here it is with all the wing and aileron rigging in place.  All EZ elastic and super glue with accelerator.  Did it all in one sitting as it goes pretty fast while my wife knits.  Well...two nights  ;)

I still need to rig the control lines for the tail and the landing gear, but the major rigging is over.  It went very, very well.

I do like how these WWI types look once rigged!  Not really done until then...

Thanks for looking...more detail to come.

Dan

You're right, Dan.  The rigging seems to add that little extra touch
that planes without lack.  Congratulations on a superb build, my friend.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks to you all for commenting.  It means a lot and coming from this group of modellers...well...it means even more as I admire your work while roaming these pages.

Thumb!  How dare you suggest I change my background...I'm outraged.  (ha, ha).  ;) ;)

I think that's a good idea.  Since this model is coming along so well, I will need to photograph it using several backgrounds etc. to get the best effect.

In fact, since I'm no photographer, any tips are heartily encouraged!

More soon...and how about that great Taube winning a top WWI award at the USA Nats!  It really looks cool from the photos.

Cheers,

Dan

It looks great.

Try photographing it against a complementary colored  background, Perhaps dark warm brown. That should make it pop!

Thanks Martin, Ian and Bo...

And thanks additionally, Bo, for suggesting a good color.  I'll give it a shot!

Cheers,

Dan
