Okay..I think I am going to deep now...trying to fabricate a hinge for the access door to the ammo box..it is to small to sand and trim to make it worthwhile.
I will try it with thin paper, enforced with superglue...back to the drawing board..

Great work on those cans. Don't forget the feed chutes had hinged doors too!
