Absolutely stunning Petrov, the decals look fantastic and as far as the silvering, I can't see it in the photos, you are doing a brilliant job.

If you dare: my cure for silvering is to carefully prick any bubbles with a needle, then Mr Color Lacquer Thinner applied directly to the offending decal with a brush, no scrubbing, just a thin coat then do not touch it. Let it sit 24 hrs. Repeat as necessary. Coat with several coats of Tamiya clear.

Thanks gents for the postive feedback! Really helps to keep the motivation (it was super hard to stay focused during all that lozenge application)

Regarding the silvered decals, I actually had tried fixing it via pin-pricks and future application prior to posting the pics here but it did not seem to help much and now the decals are pretty much fused to the lozenge now :-\

The silvering in the pics is not noticable but I intentionally shot them at an angle where it wasnt apparent - it is really noticeable at higher angles....

Debating if I should try to remove that area of lozenge where the serial # is or just apply another piece of lozenge right over the top - seems both could screw it up further....

Dave - regarding the raised "C" on the wing center section - I think that is to just lock the wing into the fuselage maybe? There is a corresponding hole on the fuse where it slots together?

well slowly some progress. Bombs are lashed to the racks with sections of Modelkasten line. Decided to do this section as a module prior to attaching to the fuselage - not sure that was the best idea as it was quite tricky getting it attached to the fuselage without breaking anything.

And here is the lower center section attached to fuselage. Wow the pics show up lots of rough spots but ah well! I dont think I would choose to decal the front gunner's section if I were to do another - so hard to get those to conform correctly around the very front of the nose....

Oooh!  Lovely work, Petrov!  She's shaping up magnificently and those bombs are brilliantly painted.
Cheers,

Superb work, Petrov!  I think you have done a terrific job
of the lozenge as well as  the bombs and undercarriage.
Looking forward to the next updates, my friend.
