Des,
Outstanding work as usual. This one is one of the oddest Flying Machines I have ever seen...but I Love it!

I thought that I had seen some odd designs pre 1914, but this one must take the biscuit! If there was not photographic evidence of its existence I am not sure that you could have made it up.
Outstanding work as usual Des - just mind-blowing what you achieve.

I need to thank all these people who have taken the time to look at my model and to leave wonderful comments.
Bo, Alain, Ermeio, Ernie, Ian, Rick, Terri, Warren, George, Martin, LM, Nigel, Jak and Roy, your comments are much appreciated.

LM - It was stumbling across a photo of this aeroplane on the net that first drew me to its unusual design, it looked completely unorthodox and in my mind was not capable of flight. The short history of this plane revealed that it did actually fly and I found a few more photos, enough to get me interested enough to attempt a scratch build.

I completed the under wing rigging last night, I'm using the Modelkasten 0.13mm elastic rigging line and so far it appears to be very successful, I am hoping to have the top rigging completed today.

The Blackburn Heavy Monoplane 1:32 scale scratch built model has now been completed. I have posted two photos here with more photos over in the completed model board. Thanks to all those who followed this build and many thanks for all the wonderful comments that have been posted.
