Hannover CL.II seatbelts
« on: February 09, 2015, 08:58:09 AM »
Okay I don't understand how the seat belts on the WNW Hannover CL.II work. Both sets look like lap belts and would in my opinion go on the seat frame. The instructions and two models I have seen show them looking like shoulder straps. Based on the instructions it almost looks like they go around the crews stomach rather than their hips, but that doesn't make sense to me. So can anyone help me out before I afix them possibly in the wrong place? Thanks in advance.

James,

I seem to recall that belts like that were not so much lap belts but actually ran higher up on the body. Something like mid-chest? At least that's what I think I remember.. :)

exactly rolanddvi they were to hold the torso more than the hips, not like a car belt we are used to.

Thanks guys. They must have been some uncomfortable to wear. Never saw a seat belt arrangement like that before.
