Nice work Rick,
The machine at Hendon looked pretty dark last time I saw it. Darker than I was expecting.
Of course the whole PC10 colour varies a fair bit anyway, and after a century, the colour on the museum machine may have oxidised and changed. Don't know if the colour on the Hendon machine is original or a restoration though.
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes,
Dave
Dave, Thanks for your comments, they are appreciated! As for the color, I am struggling to take a photo that truly shows the tones and color. My aircraft is not anywhere near as dark and brown as it looks in the photos! I have tried Natural light and my usual light set up indoors. The color is actually a brownish green with highlights and shadows created by mixing Tamiya Khaki Drab and Khaki. It is interesting in that in certain lighting it looks more green to the naked eye and other times more brown. To me that is how it should be

The G on the upper surface is much more visible than it looks in the photo although to me it is properly covered

A funny thing is that I really like the RE8 color being built by Danny. I actually bought Tamiya XF62 and when I tested it the results just seemed too dark and too green for my taste...go figure
