Just a few quick pics, did some work on the bombs and bomb racks.  I got the weathering where I like it.  Put the pins in the nose of the bombs.  I drilled out the middles of the bomb racks.  One of the very few shortcomings of the WNW kit.  I also used parts of the HGW PE set for the bomb racks.  I still need to add the straps.  I also drilled out the rear of the bombs.....

More pictures later, going back down to Zavod 44( my workshop) to do more work tonight.....

One of the very few shortcomings of the WNW kit.

Can you please provide us with a list of what YOU think the kit's shortcomings are (apart from the lower bomb racks)?

For me, the only real issue I had was the bomb racks.  I didn't like the molded on bomb straps either, but this is real nit picking.  I need to say to the WNW crew that this is not a complaint.  The work these guys do is incredible  These kits are amazing.  I have built models from every kit manufacturer.  WNW is among the finest, if not the best.... But as far as I can tell the bomb area is the only thing I could tell that really needed some attention.  The only other thing which I had some problems with was the rigging guide, there was some tricky spots that prob needed some detail views. That could just be the fact that I don't really know a bunch of things about WW I aircraft.  So maybe there are things that are common knowledge to most people, that I just don't know.  I do realize that this kit is not for beginners :).  The fun for me has been the learning aspect.  This is waaaaayyyy outside my comfort zone, so it's been a real blast working on this......

For something that is way outside your comfort zone you have done a superb job. The model looks absolutely fantastic and you are doing a wonderful job on the bombs, I'm looking forward to seeing this model fully rigged, the finish line is in sight, well done to date.
