Work continued on the landing gear and I should have paid better attention to test fitting , the axles aren't long enough ! :( Will added some stock rod later on .

Also had a mishap when removing one of the accelerating rod for the controls it broke, one piece flew south while the other went north and had to make a new one out of contrail strut rod and the one piece still left on the part tree and good old Tamiya tape , love that stuff !

Other than that every thing is ready for primer , shading and paint ! I did spend about three hours cleaning the struts , man for a small aircraft she sure has a lot of struts !

Terri,
The gear looks terrific! What did you use to make the bungee cords?

You have done excellent work so far Terri, I will ask as well, what did you use for the bungee cord, the colour looks perfect for the bungee.

Hi Terri!
You used some transparent blue on that engine, right?
How about some other touches with dark red and maybe green as well?
Ciao

Thanks guy's !

I do apologize for the lack of up dates . Have a lot of other stuff going on taking me away from the bench .

For the bungee cord I use sewing thread .Not sure if it is the right colour . Photo's of re-stored AI show the bungee to be an off white .

Iwik , I 'm waiting for my order of paint to come in at the hobby shop . I need the clear red for another project as well . Yes so far there is a bit of clear blue and smoke as well . The red will take it to the next level but I'm not sure of the green ...perhaps yellow ...

Nice work with the masking Terri, always time consuming but well worth the effort.

I agree with Des, on that one! But this sure looks precise, Terri!

Neat to see this coming together!

Cheers from NYC,
Michael
