Your pre shading looks excellent Terri! I don't have much patience for all of the masking so I tend to put it off, or not do it at all.

I am like Rick Terri - I do not bother with the pre-shading, so my models all look as though they have just come out of the factory! Yours will look greta when the top coats are on.

It was a weekend of airbrushing and not much assembly taking place .

Since I'm doing this one in British markings I sprayed the lower surfaces of the wings with Tamiya deck tan and underside of the fuselage got a couple of thin coats as well as the landing strut assembly and the wheels . Also got the wood grain on the struts done and started the clear orange . Still have to spray the other side .

In my model, some struts I had to do because they were too short.

Thanks guys for the very kind comments . They are very much appreciated

More airbrushing will commence this weekend and should take care of this part of the build . There is a lot of fittings to paint on the struts . Not sure on whether to do this by hand or pull out the masking tape .

Thanks for the heads up Jacek on the length of the struts , I got contrail strut in the stash if need be .

We got paint and decals !

The bottom was masked off along with the cowl areas and the PC was applied . Once dried , battleship grey followed . Decals are from the spare box . Still have to seal the decals before anymore weathering can be done .
