Yes, organized chaos is how I work also. One time my wife did me a "favor" and cleaned and organized my workspace. I couldn't find anything for weeks! She did that favor one time, if you know what I mean.   ::) ;D

Here is my very modest affair  :(.

Having moved just over a year ago from a house in which I was lucky enough to have a  dedicated room for my modelling and display cabinets (six in number) I am now relegated to the draughty old porch for my modelling  :'(. and have no display space at all  :'(, serious bad planning on my behalf.

Still at least I have my own space when the laundry is not being done and I can now after almost a year get back to the bench  :D.

There is good news however and that is I feel the need for a garden office to accomodate my bench , stash and display cabinets and if all goes well hoping to achieve this within twelve months  ;D

Neat and clean Gilly!

Warren

Thanks Warren, its a case of really having to keep it all shipshape in such a small area. helps me identify any interference from the passage of my kids and better half as they use the tumble dryer / spray booth stand  ;D

Here's my room:
The workbench.i store my paint in a drawer with the lids painted so I can see the real colour. Most of material like sheet and stuff is in the other drawers as well as my wet sanding-station.

A larger bench for working on dios and my library.

Display cabinets and part of my stash(strictly WWI 1/72)

You have a really good set-up Malaula, I like your idea of the larger bench for working on your dioramas.

Here's mine:

It's basically just a leftover kitchen worktop on a coupe of trestles. But it's fairly long and works well. Lots of little storage spaces & a very good daylight lamp makes it a good place to work. Build on one end, paint on the other.

But I need to rearrange the stash as it's taking up my leg room!

... Or - here's a idea - build some!!!

Building kits??? Nay, collecting boxes is in fashion nowadays...  Especially WNW ones with their fine boxart should be left as they leave NZ!  ;)

And seriously, a fine man's cave you have!

My pad. A bit cramped but I'm going to take out a bookshelf (on left) and add a small piece of bench to my 'science' work-top for an airbrushing spray-booth.

Cheers,
