Hello,

thank you very much for the nice words and for the recomendations, I was very carefull not to overdo the weathering as this was what got me scared also - making her too dirty and ugly.
Well after staining the wings I think this phase is over, I iwll probably add some more in the tail area and just a tad more on the wings, thou I haven't decided on this for now.
On a side note, at the moment, we have 5 Eindecker builds and at elast 3 of them are on the same stage - undercarriage rigging :) My build is also there and I keep an eye on the others, so I will adhere to the advice of colour coding the turnbuckles red/green/blue, but just in the central area of each turnbuckle as I think the paint on the " eyelet"area will peel off and so I doubt it was painted at all. I used several photos of the undercarriage from the instruction booklet and WnW website to get the right location of the turnbucles as I don't want to screw this aspect of the model.
I also finished the tailskid, glued it and then got it broken, so I had to replace the plastic pin with some brass tubing, but that was easily fixable! I glued the wings and I will be working on the tail in the next days, I also have few decals tro put here and there :(
Here are the pictures, as usually any questions, comments, reccomendations or constructive criticism are welcomed

Best regards,
Sasho

PS: I just realized that I got too much pictures, but I will post them anyway

The rigging on the undersurface and gear looks terrific! The weathering is awesome!

Sasho, your photos of the gear rigging are excellent, I'll be referring to them often when I start my build. Your weathering is superb!
Very nice work all round.
Cheers,
Lance

Truly lovely work, Sasho!  Makes me want to build one of these.

Beautiful, realy beautiful work, Sasho!!

On the top view, it looks in my eyes, as if the left-hand elevator bent forward....... ???
Be careful when bending back. :-\

By the way, I' m also working currently on the landing gear with my WNW Fokker E.I  ;D

I have missed this up to now. This is a truly first class model with a standard of weathering and worn finish that I have rarely seen matched. This will be a winner when it is finished - no doubt.

Thank you guys for the coments, I really appreciate them!

@Bertl - the tail elevators are not glued yet and by the way I got the part broken, but it is no isue and even makes the things easier. The left one is juts not fitted good enough but I will come to this ssoner than later :)
In the last days I was working on the rigging of the upper part. I made some changes ot the original parts G12 and A33: First I cut th epin of part A33, made a hole in the middle of the reel and with a bit of steel wire I made it working and with a hole behind in which the cables go. Then I cut the moulded turnbuckles in part G12 and replaced them with Gaspatch 1:32 turnbuckles. I used 1:48 Gaspatch bukles for the rest of the build so they look pretty much in scale :) To tighten the cables I used streched earbuds/cottonbuds. Unfortunately I don't have of this nice tubing Bertl, Bo and some others use.
Still there are 4 cables to be rigged and then I will have to fix all the small issues around the build and proceed with the tail rigging.

Best regards,
Sasho

Hello Ssashoo:

The weathering really turned out nice.  I tried some on mine, but still no where as nice as yours.  Your metal work, the weathering and rigging are all outstanding and this is progressing into a very nice build.  Looking forward to your next update.  I too am taking notes and will be following your build when I get to  my Immelman EIV.

Best
