i know what you mean, its easy to get sick of sanding when you work on alot of short run and vacs. my favorite of yours was the fe8.

Hey Scott , still will be more sanding but not as involved as before . Once the fuselage details are done next will be rib tapes , primer and a lot of masking ! Will be using Aviattic 5 colour lozenge . Still need to finish off the prop and spinner and start detailing the engine , new cab struts and the landing gear as well . Will have to dust off the FE-8 and get some pic's up . It's one of my favorites as well .

Will have some progress pic's up this weekend .

Thanks John for the kind complement  :) Nice to have a mojo boost !

Hi Vincent , one of my all time favorites ! Glad your liking the build  :)

Made some more progress placing the PE access hatches , fuel/oil cap which are to far forward and will be moved back . Gun decks panels where made out of foil paper type stuff with alum . Found at the dollar store in the crafting section . I have bare metal foil , but this is too thin . 0.5 thou card is too thick . The thickness of the paper foil is 2mm  Prefect ! Once the backing is removed it is quit sticky and adheres very well . Hard to peel it off once it's laid down . Also started on the rear bungee cord .

Thank-you very much for the kind comments guy's  :)  Today's goal is start work on the control hinges on the tail section and a few other details here and there . Slowly getting closer to the painting stage or at least primer .

Hi Dave ,

Thanks for dropping by and having a peek . I did make some progress today and have the tail section almost wrap up . Form sanding on the rudder fin strips of 30x30 stock was glued on the back and top replacing what was lost . Once the glue set this was sanded to shape and hinges added using 30x30 scraps . The stabilizer was face with half round and blended in with more sanding . Slots where made with a fine file so the new hinges will fit .
