Always great to see new techniques.  They really motivate me to build the next kit and try them out.  Love the way the engine turned out.  Great photos!  Thanks for sharing.

It has been quite a long time without any updates. However, this does not mean I was idle. Filling and sanding of fuselage multiple joints (the kit has a queer parts breakdown here), drilling and placing numerous eyelets for rigging, then finally some paint. The undersides got CDL, Polish markings and shading, so with some colours already on I decided to show it

The fuselage openings are masked and ready for grey and PC10

The radiator and the auxiliary oil tank ready to be attached

I love the way you finished that engine, Prze.  I've been tempted by this kit, but I need to thin the stash before buying more models. So I'll enjoy this kit through watching your build.

Dal.

Hello Przemo,

Your craftmanship simply bumps off my screen. This is all so neat. Wonder how  human hands can do this.

Kind regards

My Oh My, Prze, that subtle shading is really impressive! Another "thing of beauty" in the making by one of our most talented Builders! I'll be following closely, I received this Kit as a Christmas Gift and will need some good reference and inspiration when it's time comes.
Cheers,
Lance

Top shelf stuff Prez as usual!  Lovely job on the interior and engine.  Looks like a much easier build than the 1/48 Roden kit I had the joy of building a while back....!

Thanks, everybody,
Brad, it is hard to compare Roden's and WNW's quality, but your DH.9 is absolutely spectacular.

In the meantime I have finally realised, that my H5721 in Polish markings had extended rear fuselage plywood panels. I decided to adopt the kit sides by removing the wrong positioned stitching and made scratch ones at the correct places. A strip of self-adhesive alu foil, a few 0.3mm drill holes with U-shaped copper wire pieces inserted, all secured with brushed clear acrylic lacquer should do. But I will know how it worked only when it will be airbrushed.

Now it is time for tedious masking of wings and tailplane under surfaces leaving thin bands on the leading and trailing edges for "returned" upper side colour...
