Congrats on your well deserved 1st Place at the show Bud. Evidently the judges were on top of their game.

Cheers,

Chris

lets hope your passing isnt anytime soon bud.i was just being goofy and teasing you a bit on losing you 1/32 virginity. i lost mine on a 1/32 roden d.iii 5 years ago. won 1st with that one at my local contest too as a matter of fact. i have only finished a few 1/32 and i still like 1/48 better even thought the wnw kits are amazing. guess i always was a rebel.your tripe is awesome,.

Thanks, Chris, but I honestly feel that the judges had no idea what they were even looking at.
 ;)
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks, Scott.  Yeah, I know you were just teasing.  Don't worry.  Not a chance of my going west any time soon.  I've got too many models in the stash.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks, Rick!  She took first.  My Oeffag D.II took second and my Rumpler C.I took third.  In my opinion, those two, my Comic and my Phonix are better models than the Tripe.  Just proof positive that in an "all scales" category, a WNW kit will win over models in other scales.
Cheers,
Bud

Congrats Bud, yes there is a WNW bias out there, so others get a short shift, at least in being lightly looked at.

A small update on the balance of this project.  The wee one is on her feet and packin' heat.

I really like these Gaspatch guns.  I should have the wings on in a day or two.
Cheers,
Bud

;D ;D ;D LMAO!  Bo, are you trying to get me to wet my pants?  Really not much of a challenge there.  The older I get, the easier it is to do.
Cheers,
Bud

Looking terrific Bud! When it is complete it will be very difficult to tell from photos that she is 1/48th!

Yes, I see elsewhere that you plan on getting the F2a but the lead foot incidence is pushing it back a bit !

Smaller  Tripe brother is looking as good  as our amigo says!!
