Polyamide tubing, brown colored, fairly stiff plastic tubing that comes in tiny precision sizes, used in industry for medical and instrumentation stuff and so on. You can get it from amazon supply. Will arrive in a giant cardboard tube with another large plastic tube inside... And inside that will be a straight length of the stuff.

Ed, short answer : whichever you like :) -- choose by size, dimensions are shown. I use AWG 29 for .14mm "Worlds Best Rigging Line", Bertl recommends AWG 30-E for  .08 to .12mm rigging.

This was all just covered in some detail in another thread here

Here's a bit more on the subject, Ed and Terri:
http://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=3088.msg51826#msg51826

Thank you all so much for your generous comments.  I'm truly humbled.  I'm really enjoying this build, but with the GB looming, I'd best get my arse in gear and get these babies done.  Now in the process of drilling rigging and locating holes on the Eduard kit and trying to bring the WNW kit up to the same construction point (lower wing and tail feathers).  I've got a pretty busy work schedule this week, but hopefully I'll get most of this stuff done this coming weekend.
Cheers,
Bud

Sorry, T.  Nothing yet.  Still deeply emersed in the GB.  However I see a stall coming up soon.  I will soon have everything done but the wings and I'm pretty sure Richard won't have the 1/48 cookie cutters ready within the next couple weeks, so I'll get some work done on the WNW Tripe during that period.  Kinda looking forward to it.
Cheers,
Bud

Hello Bud,

I was again some time absent and now I took the time to read and look at your build log again. What you have accomplished here is a fabulous build! The highlights till now for me are your magnificent interiors with extremely neat and nice control cables, the rib shading simply gorgeous, overall wonderful painting and the modifications on the Eduard. This is such a nice build(s) to follow. Superb modeling my friend!

Kind regards
Patrick

Yeah, c'mon Bud. Get back at that Tripe before it starts to gather dust on the shelf!  ;D

Cheers,

Chris
You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

Thanks, Patrick.  I am looking forward to getting back to this build.  Once I do, I should be able to wrap them up in a reasonable amount of time.
Cheers,
Bud

They are already beginning to show signs of aging, Chris.  I'm actually just experimenting with a new weathering technique.
Cheers,
Bud

T, with that shoulder injury of yours, I think you're already applying this technique yourself. ;)

I've been so caught up in the Fokker GB, working on my second, in fact, that I totally neglected this project to the point where both models began gathering dust.  The dust was difficult to remove, but a little Testors Plastic-Prep on a lens cleaning cloth finally did the trick.
Got the engine and cowling installed, then added the tail assembly and rigged it.

Cheers,
Bud
