I've an idea that the profipack Camel contains a small resin piece for this.
You're right, Nigel. The Profipack does contain these bits, but they're a too small for the kite I'm modeling.
Isn't there another bringing together the rigging wires between the undercarriage legs?
Not on the ship I'm replicating. There's also no Rotherham pump visible in any of the photos. Not on the cabane struts nor the undercarriage struts. Now, the Bentley powered Camels had an internal pressurization pump, but this ship is Le Rhone powered. It must have also had an internal pump, but I can't find anything confirming this.
I've finished the rigging. All that's left, now, are the undercarriage, the aileron controls, Holt flare brackets and lights, the windscreen, prop and guns.


I just realized, after looking at these photos, that the dual flying wires don't show up at the angles at which these photos were taken. Hmmm. Trust me, they're there.
