Bud,
As always your post shading is awesome! As for that PRR Engine, I too spent a lot of time up close and personal as I tagged along with my older brother who was/is a Rail Fan and especially Pennsy/PC/ whatever. There were some of those Brunswick Green Locos you would swear were black even standing next to it not moving. That color was very elusive and I think Polysacle/Flowuil Nailed it!

Great work Bud, this shading is so well and masterly done. The wing looks so real. Once again a lovely build!

Kind regards my friend

Hello Bud:

Great job on the post shading.  As has been mentioned, you know when to stop and not overdo it.  I will have to start experimenting with that on my next build with cockades.  Always a learning experience.  Neat photo of the PRR Loco!  Always liked those big diesels.  We used to take the Great Northern from Minneapolis to Braham.  About an hour or so by train.  We always thought as kids we were going "Up North".  Were we fooled:  it's now a bedroom community for the Twin Cities with no train service anymore, go figure!  The train ride was always an adventure though.

Best

Thanks again for your kind comments, guys.  Mark, maybe you can take the train when you come out to CA next month. ;)

Another small update.  Got the tail surfaces on and rigged.

Cheers,
Bud

My Sentiments exactly!  What train goes up to your place?  Don't know if we will be able to get up there, we are going to spend some time in Calistoga.  Let me know.  I would enjoy another visit just to see how you 'post shade'.
