Hi Guys,

Just a small update-here is one of the four D.VII models I have just finished. These will appear in our next WNW modelling Special due later this year. More news when I have a definite date, ;D
Cheers,

Thanks for the kind words Guys!

The figures in the photo-the pigeon and horse are Riich Models livestock volume 2;the nurse is one of the Modelkasten resin kits and the seated pilot is a Dave Allen production. All the figures featured in the new book will be from commercially available ranges and there will be links so that readers can quickly source them.

One of the other Fokkers is featured in Steve Robson's Gallery;the remaining two  I will post shortly when I can get them in front of a camera again.

Cheers,

RayR.

Fantastic work - not my scale but I cannot help but appreciate the amount of detail that can be put in at this scale. Great finish and the diorama sets the model off to its best.

Hi Guys,

Here is the early Fokker version finally finished- a Jasta 15 example with partly handmade markings. The pilot is  by Doug Craner who did all the wood airscrews for the featured models. Photos and  a colour profile of this particular aircraft support the build log for the Special.

Cheers,

RayR.

A pair of extraordinary Fokkers, Ray, and beautifully photographed.  I look forward to seeing all 4 together.

Hello Guys,

Really appreciate your feedback on these-thanks! Here is the third-my take on Nickchen IV in post- capture markings with the engine and guns removed. I did exercise some artistic licence with this one! ;)

Cheers,

I like that weathering in the lower longeron very much.

There's nothing wrong with some artistic licence... you didn't "kill" it at all!  ;D
