You're making good progress, Rick.  Great attention to detail.
Looking forward to next update.

Cheers,
Ernie :)
Thanks Ernie! I have an intense work schedule this week  and next so I don't know how much progress I will make!

Rick,

This one is coming together nicely. Are those Ralph O'Neill's markings?

Thanks for the compliment! The markings represent Elliotts #9. Available on a Superscale Decal sheet!

Now for the fun part: upper wingy bit. Going to be a nice addition to your collection.

Thanks Mike! Yes, mounting the upper wing is always an adventure, especially for me as I do it by hand, no jigs!!

The 28 is officially a Bi Plane Now! Not too much difficulty as the cabanes really work well to anchor and line everything up:

Thanks Gregory! I am working on the fin/rudder painting and decaling! Since the major rigging is already anchored shouldn't take long to get that done!

Simply gorgeous, buddy!  Too bad you didn't wait till Oct to start this one  ;).  Eventually, I plan on doing the same scheme in 1/48 scale.  I love those markings and your painting and decal placement are flawless.
Cheers,
Bud

Here are some photos of the latest progress. The main rigging is complete. During the tightening process 3 wires came loose from their anchor point on the fuselage . I had to go back and re drill holes in a very tight space. Took a while but I made it work.
