p.s. I'm also going for a lovely flying eagle badge for my bike but that's from, you know, the other war.  Hmmm, I sort of think it was all really one war with a, lunch break.

Probably a good thing one is enough the way customs and postage costs are these days.   

What's the import declaration going to say? I suppose, "Contents, one only antique Potato Masher", wouldn't be untrue.   

The Flying Eagle badge will be a nice and very tasteful addition I think.

Probably more so than a pair of Spandaus..........but

A set of white metal (with mild Banana disease  ) legs for the Pfalz DIIIa

Dare I say it, but these look like identical copies of the WNW's legs - I could be wrong, but.....

strength would be the difference?

Not 100% sure of the strength to weight ratio on these parts, Ernie  but will let you know if they resemble a Salvador Dali painting by the time I get through with them

The landing gear is indeed a copy of the kit's parts, made by Scale Aircraft Conversions (SAC).  They specialize in casting kit landing gear parts in white metal.

If those are the Scale Aircraft Conversions ones they probably are copies. In my personal experience they are a waste of time as they are copies with no enhancements and weaker than the plastic legs they are replacing. Thats my opinion at least. I wont but their stuff personally.
