Hi Filip .

I've got an Eduard Hannover  CI.IIIa in the stash. It's been there for donkey's years. Do you think you'll get round to doing yours?

Yeah I think so cause this one is one of those planes I was craving to have. I think after completing Lloyd, which as you can see won`t take long now I will build the Salmson - it looks so tempting! Another one is GOtha - which I`m planning to build for the competition to comemorate the Great War (it`s on the Polish forum), and then I may build Hannover. I know lot of work ahead  ;) Do you need motiviation to build yours?
Best regards
Filip

Not so much motivation Filip as time! My problem lies in advancing years and a stash of wonderful models. I 'm more likely to have it running part time alongside other greater priorities. How about you? It would be an interesting challenge though.

Best wishes
Nigel

Sounds familiar, Nigel...seems the stash keeps growing as I grow slower.  Not the
best combination. ;D  I suppose I will have to put more thought into my "build list". ;)

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Most definitely it would be a challenge but a worthwile I think! I agree the stash keeps growing and the progress is so slow.
Best regards

Nice collection of kits. They should keep you busy for a week or two. Have fun! I'm building that same Breguet kit now, It is full of surprises.

Yea, Filip, you have indeed increased your stash... Well, you will need some time to reduce it. I am looking forward to see them at your bench and finally in the roll-out cabinet.

Just to sniff the plastic will take more  :D

A late Christmas box from me to me!

Ordered Jan' 4th - came to the door Feb' 13th. Seemed to get hung up at the Border agency, plus of course it was ordered over Wingnuts Christmas hols'.
No matter here now ....

For those sharp eyed amongst you? - the photoetch, despite my reservations is nothing more than seatbelts which seem to have promise and a selection of gauge bezels that I thought may come in handy.

No amazing reasons for my selection other than I thought it best to get the two newest additions whilst I can - the DH9 looks terribly handsome in the box. I had it in mind to do the Japanese Salmson - not so sure now I have it in my hands.
The late Snipe because I really like the look of the pugnacious fellow, I'm drawn to the artwork on the Pfalz (apparently it's not that popular? And that in itself is like a red rag to me)!!
And the Junkers!!! Well, it's like a bliddy tank that flies (and badly by the look of the pic's in the destructions).

There are plenty more that move me - but I really should improve my build speed - although I spend many a happy hour just poring over the box and contents, instructions in hand and mind in a lazy tickover.
KBO ............. Andi.

That is quite the Haul! At least 3 of those are on my Wish List for future projects. Enjoy them and I hope to see a build log on at least one soon  ;)

Yesturday i bought a new kit: a SPAD XIII from Revell. Easy and quick to do. The model is the same as Eduard weekend edition, Revell bought the rights to inbox it with the Revel label.

I hope to do it in few time, in the meaningwhile i learn how to build an airplane (a Bleriot XI) from 0.

Hello Andi:

Quite the stash build up there.  I am partial to the Pfalz DXII.  A great kit, under represented in the forums and like the prototype, apparently the Germans didn't like it either.  That being written, it is a fun build.  Lots of colorful schemes for it, the first of the cookie cutter lozenge decals, easy to rig, and a neat looking model.  It is one of my favorite models to date, and I did get another one to do the early version of it.  The Junkers I have as well, and it too builds into a neat looking model, there are just others that I would rather spend my time on at the moment.
Best wishes in your decision making process as to which kit to build next.  Always an issue with me.
