Kits, books, and tools are all impressive! You certainly have a great building future  ;D By the way I find Micro Mesh handy for doing a lot of things other than canopies. Reducing the build up of paint between colors on a camo scheme. Polishing out flaws etc.

Great tip on sanding between coats of paint. I took an auto body repair course in high school, it was very much a thing for finishing 1:1 scale cars...

Hallo, it was a very long time I did not purchase new kits, but I found these two 1/48 Flashback on the Bay and I couldn't resist, they are kits I was after since long time:

The Aviatik was one of the most used by the Austro Hungarians on the Italian front. This kit has also the lozenges decals.
It was a very cheap deal (less than 16 euros) although the P&P was a bit high (15 €)

This is a plane I always liked for its weird lines and technical solutions such as the rudder below the stabilizers plane. Lozenges are in this box also.
This was not cheap but I decided to get it anyway, now I am about to complete my collection

Ciao!

Antonio

See - right there - you replied NINE days ago and it felt like I posted here a couple of days back. So how much for the nano?

I have added another WNW kit to the stash . Their new Albatros D.V Red Baron . Not keen on the figure . I missed my chance for a D.V when it was first release , and not wanting to pay the high ebay prices for one , not missing out this time around .

Don't buy - borrow!
This is what my flatmates and I did before our University exams: we often got fed up studying so we all borrowed some time from after the exams to go out and kick a football around. Worked fine; we all got our degrees.

Hi Terri! Got this one too... great kit... but a little curiosity: It says to paint the tailskids of the Albitri Clear doped linen, doesn't seem right to me... the original release said "dark wood" for all of them... and if you look at profile A you can see the difference... but no real bother... I do mind the square aileron wire covers though, should be rounded, easy enough fix and needs some putty around it, fiddly but most un-WNW- ish...

Regards,

Marc
