I have started buying a collection of the MRP Paints, I have heard good reports about this paint, luckily I can buy it from one of our local hobby shops, BNA Model World in Victoria.

Des.

Hi Des, nice set you purchased, do you have any info about how those paints are to be used by brush?

I can't give you an answer Antonio as I have not used the paints yet, but from what I have heard it is purely for airbrushing because it is very thin.

Another delivery this morning, this time 50 x 0.2mm tungsten carbide drill bits, very tiny but will come in useful.

Coming back from Slovenia I felt an urgent need for these...

I have been wanting to build another one of these kits for quite some time, this one was on special at Metro Hobbies in Melbourne so I grabbed it, arrived today.

Des,
    Consider the Bren Gun PE Set for this Kit, it's well worth it if only for the lower nose cowling with the louvres. Although it was a reasonably challenging Build it is probably my favourite model in my collection. What scheme do you have in mind?
Cheers,
Lance

I'm leaning towards this scheme Lance;

     Very attractive scheme, Des. I would not hesitate to do a second; for my tastes one of the most attractive and "mean" looking designs of the Great War era. The mainly black finish and headrest addition will contrast very nicely with your original Build of the Kit.
Cheers,
Lance

Lozenge covered struts may prove a nightmare!
Good luck, Des  ;)

    I found the Lozenge (Aviattic version) surprisingly cooperative for the struts on my attempt. A little softener (Micro Sol) made the task a pleasant one.

This kit arrived today, it was flat packed so the box needed to be constructed, all contents are in excellent condition.
