Quite happy. Won Aeroplanes of the Royal Aircraft Factory on ebay and just bought a WNW RE.8 and LVG C.VI for just a bit more than original price. Nice anniversary presents I got myself from my wife ;)  Hope she like what I got her.  Oh and if you're interested the Opal is the anniversaries suggested present.

Verbeek and James,
Both of you have done well! Especially picking up the OOP WNW kits at a relatively bargain price James!

Thanks Rag!

With all those great Wingnut Wings kits I good use (some say it is a WnW kit so you do not need it ;- ) a good jig:

Complete it looks like this:

It is 5mm thick material.

And this week it is free sending! (I'm Dutch, so I like that! ;- )

And yet another Macchi M.5 lands at its destination. I must congratulate HPH for the way they packaged my kit, they have 5 separate compartments inside the box where the various parts are housed and all the parts are wrapped in bubble wrap so no parts were able to bounce around inside the box. The box itself was wrapped in corrugated cardboard then an outer brown paper wrapping with my address, then the whole package was wrapped in clear tape. No damage was caused at all to any of the parts, well done HPH Models.

The CD instructions are a good idea but I prefer a paper copy, so I printed out the entire instruction manual, 24 A4 pages in colour.

This arrived last week - just about to perform a fiendish modification on one of Otto's wheels  ;)

It's a tiny milling machine made by John Stevens of London who makes various types of machines & tooling for watchmakers & modellers.

The milling head swivels, the bed has the normal X & Y axis travel (50mm+) then there's the fine feed for the head plus a course adjustment up & down the pillar. The speed is governed by a variable control on the power supply. It uses the WW type collets in the head so all sorts of drills & cutters can be used especially 1/8" shank ones in a suitable collet. Only for small stuff but for that use it's perfect.

Regards
Russell
