WNW Pfalz D.IIIa
« on: July 12, 2013, 10:27:17 PM »
The journey begins...  ;D

The Pfalz will mainly be built OOTB apart from Steven's wonder wheels (cheers mate!) my buckles for rigging and a wee bit of wiring here and there. For the most part I want to concentrate on getting the job done without slipping into AMS hell! I need one under the belt after such a long layoff - the D.IIIa fits the bill perfectly for this  :)

Cheers,
Bob

An under repressed kit for sure. I haven't seen either of the schemes you're planning on, so I'll be watching with interest. The Hailer scheme even has invasion stripes! It's the Bizarro Build!  ;D

Looking forward to watching this one come together, Bob.  About bloody time, mate.  Hailer's ship gets my vote.  Love the stripes and those Bavarian diamonds.
Cheers,
Bud

Nice. If you don't move too swiftly the missing dash former will be available from Nordland's shortly ;)

I must have missed something at some point. Missing dash former? Can you fill me in on this one RB? I just may be doing this one soon as a relatively easy build if I ever complete the Brisfit.
Cheers,
Lance

YAY!  Go, Bob, go!  I like scheme A, mate, as there's a few variations of the blue theme to be seen around the web.

Bob,

I was hoping you'd do the blue one - I'm doing the Jasta 29 one at the moment too, and you might show me up!

I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Enjoy.
