Hi all
The model is now mounted onto its display base.
Just the figure and propeller to complete this build

Hi all
The pilot figure with flight jacket and gloves (moustache added at clients request)
Also resin covered pictures of the ships plaque and Federico Martinengo
These will be located on the display base

Just waiting for the propeller now to complete the model

I really love this Mike.
Did they say why they wanted those grey moustache on the pilot face?

The moustache does look a bit incongruous ‘on the face of it’………

Hi,
The Commander of the Italian Frigate that this model is made for has a similar moustache.
He asked for the figure to have it.

Hi all
The final part of the Macchi M.5 is now fitted.
This is a real wood laminated propeller with metal erosion tips.
It was made by Alexey Belov at 'Proper Plane', based in Ukraine.

I'll post completed model shots soon,

Mike
