The decals have gone on really well, the PC10 edges look really neat.

Thanks Richie. One more photo. A bit washed out but it does show the weave in the fabric  8)

PS: The fuselage side decals will be the most challenging for two reasons:
1. These Test sheets had the square opening for the control wire tubes in the wrong location
2. They were designed to be applied before mounting the lower wing. ( I received them after assembling the parts)

Wow!  That looks amazing.  We have come a long way from the days of Renwal Aeroskin kits!

Thanks Tim. Yeah, Aviattic decals do add a New dimension to modeling. On the other hand, there is nothing like the feeling of applying those Aeroskin coverings, the glue was Awesome  ::)

Decals look great. Are they the usual Aviattic "warm water only?"

Thanks Steve and Yes, warm water and gloss white background. (Although I deviated)

Thanks Marc. Here are the latest on the CSM Bristol Scout. I have done the first layers of CDL. On the undersides I have also done a bit of "See Through". The undersides still have a few layers of color to go.

I've been following this in lurk mode, nice to see both kits progressing so well, they are looking great. The Aviattic decals look good, Dave and Richard have done a great job in getting the contrast between the rib tapes and fabric (and markings) just right. I know there will be more tweaks before the decals are on sale but your Strutter looks very good at this stage.

Your Scout is coming along beautifully Rick, the translucent effect works well for me.

A Thing of Beauty, Rick! Thanks to the kindness of a fellow Forum member there may be a Scout in my near future, so I'm taking notes. And I suspect there's a Strutter lurking somewhere down the timeline as well, always wanted to do a French machine.
