I am glad you like my work. So here is more. The propeller complete with boss plates recovered from spares. The engine support complete with its 22 cables and side fittings from the kit PE fret. And finally dry fit together. Now for some dirt and to mount it on the hull. And yes, there will be even more lines with turnbuckles...

The mount and rigging look outstanding to date! 40 lines....about 35 more than I would have patience for

Serious rigging on that engine bearer. Looking great!

Quite a little too less rigging for my taste, otherwise a great progress!

Maybe I'll just hold back a while on the Lohner build

The engine tower finished, the engine just laid dry to give the photos more flavour.
Honestly, this model costs me a lot. But today ended with a huge success. What I feared most in this build is now done - the horizontal stabiliser rests now safely on its 8 struts!!! But do not ask me how it was done - probably the most stressing modelling bit in my life...
Well, the bird starts taking shape!

Beautifully done! Getting that tail to sit straight on all those struts is no joke. I remember having difficulty with my 1/72 build. Yours is coming together quite nicely.

Perfect start on the weekend! Colourful, complicated and with a hint of things to come.

Wow Andreas, that is amazing. The horizontal stabilizer struts gave me a nervous twitch just looking at them on your model which is in another country! It must have been a traumatic experience but it all looks perfectly lined up.

Thanks for kind words, gentlemen
More work on the tail feathers. Vertical stabilizer with its rigging done. Elevator and rudder fitted with control horns just dry fit for more flavour. I will do the control lines from Uschi elastic not to strain the assembly excessively.
