The "fabric back panels" were glued to the kit back panels with a little super glue.

It doesn't look so bad after all.

Well, I was not quite satisfied yet, because in the original, the fabric back panels were attached to the wooden back panel with snap fasteners.
The snap fasteners should also be visibly represented on the model.
There is the possibility to show them as painted dots or to actually use "push buttons".
I decided to actually show them as parts.
I used resin rivets for this.
For this, suitable holes had to be drilled.

Here is a test to check if the size of the rivets fits in scale.

I think that fits.
The advantage of the resin rivets, they do not need to be painted, they already have the RLM02 color.
Now the holes for the rivets - sorry, for the push buttons - are drilled in the appropriate distance.
