A few simple parts for the cockpit.
The three rudder bars.
The retaining brackets for the feet are bent from thin copper wire.
I bent the copper wires around a piece of round wood to get an almost exacte radius.
They are glued with super glue.
If the end of the wire is bent a little, the angle is correct and it is easier to glue.
Do not forget to drill the two holes for the control cables.

The metal parts of the rudder bars are painted with RLM02 and the shelf for the shoes with leather brown.
A little aging/weathering with diluted oil paint broth.
At the pivot point some grease can be shown with a little black oil paint.
The control cables for the rudder are made with 0.08 or 0.10mm fishing line.

The control sticks need more attention.
The two MG triggers are cast as one part.
Also missing are the clearly pronounced indentations for the thumbs.

First, the MG trigger is filed cleanly flat.

Then a small ball end mill is used to make the indentations.
The cutter can be turned between the fingers, there is not much plastic material which has to be removed.

After that, the MG trigger is split with a resin saw.

Now we are much closer to the original than before.

The handle of the control stick is cast a bit too dense on the model.
It is carefully scraped thinner with a sharp scalpel blade.

The throttle lever and the throttle body for the throttle lever are made from waste plastic.
The retaining strap is made with a little Tamiya-tap.
Don't forget the screw connections for the wooden grips - use a thin drill to mark the screw heads.

And also don't forget to drill the two holes for the throttle cables on the bottom side of the throttle body.

In the original, the control stick could be easily and quickly fixed in its respective position with a toggle lever.
This was necessary to keep the pilot's hands free in case of jammed MGs.
The toggle lever can be created quickly and easily with copper wire.

Drill some holes on the control stick to fix and redirect the control cables for elevator and aileron.
Also two holes for the two MG triggers are needed.
The complete control stick is painted with RLM02.
The bare metal parts of the clamping slide are painted with Mr. Metalcolor "Iron" or "Dark-Iron".
The idler pulleys are painted in rust-red.
With a new, pointed thin brush this works quite well.
The wooden grips are painted with "Radome" and get a wood grain with oil paint.
Weathering/aging again with highly diluted oil paint.

After painting, the Bowden cables and control cables are glued in place.
I used black painted fishing line for the bowden cables (throttle and MG trigger) and silver painted fishing line for the control cables (aileron and elevator).

We start with the two bowden cables for the throttle - the two bowden cables lead from the throttle to the carburetor.

I don't know how you do it, but you're doing it again.

I have a feeling this is going to be yet another masterclass.

In trifold.

Now the control cables for elevator operation.
These run partially over pulleys.

Finally the control cables for the ailerons.
In the picture the control stick for the D.Va.
Unfortunately I missed to take a picture of the D.V control stick.
The differences are related to the routing of the aileron control cables.
On the D.Va, these run through the lower wing and are redirected upward to the ailerons in the area of the V-Struts.
On the D.V, the aileron control cables run upward in front of the pilot into the upper wing and are redirected to the ailerons there.
