This is another long overdue project, planned for years, right after the release of Halberstadt kits.
Finally, I gathered together the photos (recently published book on German aircraft in Polish early aviation), the decals for individual markings and Aviattic cookie-cut losenge, Taurus resin bits for Mercedes engine, HGW textile seat belts as well as the empty space in my workshop.
The work started on cockpit and engine bits. Very little will be added to the cockpit, just a few control lines and fuel switches for the instrument panel.
And yes, my feeling from the time just after the release of this kit is now confirmed. The plastic quality of those very late WNW kits is clearly worsened. The edges are not sharp, the border between the element and the flash is vague, the fit is not so excellent - here I had problems with the right-hand side truss not matching the pin on the fuselage. But of course it is nothing a mid-skilled modeller cannot overcome with some basic work with sand paper. Just saying, there were already some signs that something was rotting in the Kingdom of Denmark...
After cleaning, airbrushing and decalling I have started the assembly but there will be some wash added to emphasize the details.
