Yes, you are absolutely right.
I thin this (modelAir) paint 1:2 with the original Vallejo thinner. It takes some getting used to... That paint much different from Tamiya's acrylics.

Good day. Started applying decals. Either the decal is old (about 10 years old), or the decal is of poor quality, I don't know. The decal is very hard and brittle. It crumbles to pieces all the way. Here is such a confusion.

Your Felix is looking Fantastic! It is a shame that the decals are giving you issues. Wat you have done looks Great!

Looking great, and great job overcoming that difficulty. I'd say it's the age as I've not heard anyone mention this with these before. Microscale makes a product to spray over old decals to prevent this from happening.

Good day.
Finished with decals. Topped with varnish and oil wash. The result is in front of you.

That is absolutely Gorgeous! I think if you were to post this elsewhere and claim it was the WNW kit Most would believe you!

She looks very good!

I have the Roden Curtiss H-16 in my stash.

Love it.  8)
Frustrating when you have to fight decals, but there's only one winner here
