Excellent work on the jig. The construction is looking fantastic and like Ken has stated all of the surface prep is paying off!

I daresay that finally after repeated sessions with CA glue, sanding paper of several grades and primer, the wings and tail seams are ready.

A few more items done. 16 turnbuckles for main rigging fitted with eyelets. Rigging eyelets in wings, centrepiece struts and undercarriage struts mounted. Horns at u/c struts for rubber cord suspension added. 4 control horns for ailerons made from plastic as replacement for inadequately flat PE kit pieces.

Finally some colours! The linen surfaces painted and shaded, with some hints of the inner structure visible from underneath. Then masked and a base for veneer colour is being applied.

The linen surface with the pre shading is not from this world. Simply perfect. Beautiful.

Thank you, Zac and Raphael.
The wood is painted. It is quite dark but then, who knows how it really was

Great progress, the "wood" looks nice.
What brand of white primer you use on resin? Does it "bites" into the resin?

Thanks, Frank.
I have shown the primer bottle at the beginning of my thread. It is Mig One Shot Primer. I did not notice any interaction with the resin. And if you possibly refer to that zone on the upper wings where I had a technical break in wood application, it is mostly the play of clear brown shades/intensity and the semi gloss/gloss surface. It will all be varnished and unified, after decaling and wash.
