Great review Brad!  It looks like a great kit.  KP has certainly been on fire in the last couple of years when it comes to German two-seaters.

I'm a big P-40 fan (and the Special Hobby kits are terrific representations) but the P-40D has always been a bit of a blindspot in my knowledge, so I'm eager to read this.

Me too!  I heard someone say the other day that it was our "Hurricane".  :) Like you, the D is a big blind spot for me too. I've so far stock-piled three of the SH kits and hope to get more.
