I painted the black Jasta 6 unit marking stripes yesterday on the DIII. Some touch up and evening out will be needed.

Thanks Stephen. My painting skills are average and from all I have seen of your work yours are certainly not Lacking! Since the last photo the stripes have been straightened and aligned using black decal. I also added the crosses from a WNW Albatros sheet.

Thanks Fredrik! I think I mentioned that this is MY interpretation of a scheme Greg van Wyngarden shows in his MvR and Flying Circus book. He rightly doesn't commit to colors so I used My own best judgement 

So Today I mounted the upper wing. I used My New jig with a certain amount of success. I still have a Large learning curve on getting all of those arms and levers set correctly. In the end I got it close on the jig then finished up by hand/ eyeball.

Looks as though you are mastering the dark arts of your jig Rick. I do hope it reduces the chances of you drpooing/mis-aligning the wings so you not not feel the urge to try out the flight characteristics of the model in future.

Thanks Marc. I normally don't have to resort to the use of decals on My stripes but these were pretty far off in a couple of places. I just didn't feel up to re-masking and painting
