@Roger/VonSchlepp: I am very interested in seeing how do you transform the Airfix kit, are you publishing WIP somewhere  ???

Hallo everybody,
I made a little progress: the tail booms, so tiny and brittle, I prepared a sort of jig to keep the pieces up and straight


Here are the two pieces:


And here is the way I used he jig


But before joining the two parts I rigged them:


Here is the tail piece completed



I added the transversal piece corresponding to the rearmost struts, it adds some stiffness and as you all know that piece existed in the real plane but not in the kit!!!!

Hello Antonio:

Thanks for the correction, I have been watching too many "Mr. Moto" detective movies lately.   I remember building this kit over 40 years ago during the "Summer of Modeling".  I didn't rig it.  I don't know how you do or did it in that wee tiny scale, but it is looking good.
