I like that scheme.  And a plain silver color will highlight the exterior details.

Silbergrau is a difficult colour to paint because it shows all of the joints if they are not perfect. On the other hand it does provide a pure background for any personal colours so this one should look very good.

That's a nice scheme you've chosen. Silver isn't the easiest color but I'm sure you can handle it.

Very nice work so far Alexis. Pfalz D.III is my favorite WW1 fighter, good to see them been build. I have that same 1996 kit, still untouched, i have also the newer Weekend version which i think will be the one i build first.

Thanks guys  :)

It has been a few days since I was able to work on this one . But Yard work is finally done .

Everything has been clear coated and with start on the decalling . Bit more to go with the strut decals and other smaller ones .
For the age of the decals so far they have performed excellent . I was expecting cracking , but so far so good .

Matti , The Pfalz D.III/a is my favorite as well . Such a sexy design  :)

Simple and effective Alexis.
You're right about the sexy design of the Pfalz DIII / DIIIa, the DIIIa looks more aggressive with the MGs fully visible, the DIII shows IMHO a more "modern" line.

Anyway my favourite is the DIIIa as well!

Lovely update, the finish look super smooth, I love the colour too. I still have a WNW Pfalz in my stash, this build is tempting me back to kit building. Agreed about the Pfalz being sexy, incredibly sleek lines for a WW1 fighter.

The paint and markings are bringing this one to life Alexis. Not long to finish this and another superb Pfalz will be in your collection. Such a graceful looking aeroplane.

Your Pfalz is really coming along very nicely, Alexis -

The model really seems to come alive once you get the decals on - looking great so far!
