Okay , didn't work on the Pfalz but I did start spraying the base colours on all the interior parts . Now comes the fun part for me . Detail painting and weathering !

Haven't started any of the detail paint but rain is coming here again so this will be perfect to veg in front of the bench with the smell of paint !

I'm in no hurry on getting this one done , this is the type of build which will burn me out fast . So a little here and a little there .

Hello Alexis,
I too have this kit in my stash and am keen to see how you paint the mottle camo. I'm relatively new to airbrushing so on my recently finished Revell 1/32 BF109 G-6 I dabbed on the mottle with tightly rolled sponge 'sticks', not having the confidence to use my airbrush! Quite happy with the result and when I get my head around posting pics, I will do so.

Hi Brian ,

The mottled camo really isn't hard to airbrush at all . It looks daunting and I had the same reaction at first . To build up on confidence I would practice on junk models or sheets of paper . I thin my paint a little more and set the needle lock on my airbrush so i don't pull back on the trigger to far and starting right up against the fuselage I pull the trigger and pull away and keep building it it until I'm happy . It will be a while before I get to the camo stage , but I will share more in detail how I do this . I also look forward on seeing your 109 , I built the new tool of that kit as well . It's not a bad kit .
