You are right Alexis! I think I am going with that one. Yesterday I got #2  together so I am almost to the initial painting stage on both  8)

RAGIII,
This is bound to be another great pair of builds to follow. Your work always provides valuable guidance to us.

Thanks Kevin! I do remember from the first one I almost finished that mounting the upper wing was a challenge. Hopefully I will get them both done  :o By the way I occasionally provide valuable guidance on what Not to DO  ;D

That’s great, Rick. You make these kits look a great joy to build.

Thanks Andreas. I am trying to keep the fun in this build. Both have been given a coat of Tamiya grey paint. Just a bit of touch up sanding before starting on the schemes.

Thanks, I did the final filling and sanding today. Should start the painting in the next couple of days. I also added a couple of filler caps to the upper forward fuselage that Roden missed  8)

Congratulation on these, they look very nice indeed!  The surface detail is great.

Nice job Rick,

I do rather like the Spad, that one didn’t appear in Wingnut’s catalogue is a great shame..

I will be building one in 1/48 at some point  :D

Carry on Rick..

Stunning progress, Rick! That Roden kit is an under-rated honey, and is coming together beautifully -- as twins! -- Please take your time with the painting stage, there is nothing worse that paint that peels off or goes funny! Regards, Marc.
