My wings have arrived !

Work has begun on the interior by adding some more of the framing . I'm not sure if this type had the rear bulk head . Part of the frame work would have been change for the top wing struts .

Once the top wing is in place not much of the pit will be notice so I won't be going gun -ho with the details  ;) There is a part missing from the Eduard kit and that is the spent cartriage shoot so this I will have to make .

Nice start T! I think I have that spent ammo chute but you can probably make one in the time it would take to get to you. That being said let Me know!

Hey Rick , thanks for dropping by and having a peak  :) That is a very kind offer Rick , but you right . I will have one made in no time . I have a plan of attack now on the details to add and change so i should have some progress in a few days .

This is a kit a wish Eduard would re-tool ..

Terri, I hope the quality of your Spin Model conversion set is ok!
I just checked mine and there a re no bubbles on the wings. The struts could be better, but I will replace them by wood anyway.

Do you know that picture? It is the best quality one of that Triplane I know!

Hi Frank ,

Yes I have this photo already saved and you are right . It is the clearest showing just how thin the wings are . No issue at all with the resin wings . No air bubbles or short shot and the lower wing fits perfect ! I was expecting to have to do a fair bit of sanding , but this is not the case .

Made a start on the floor by thinning the towards the rear on the underside so this sits lower . Areas on the side and middle of the heel plates was removed and new details added and a brass pin/nut for the rudder bar . Front part for the control column support is under way which is still a work in progress . So far this is what I was able to get done today .

Today's progress was finishing the control column support and seat support and both are fixed in place , now the control column itself is next .

Terri, that is a amazing enhancement!
It seems you really want to know it how far you can go in that scale ;)
