That Lewis looks quite the part, Alexis, very nice! I also like the brass pins - there is a hint of the hinges there - good detail. Regards, Marc

Wow Alexis - this one is coming along nicely. The detail and painting on the gun are superb, and the brass pins on the ailerons are a great help - I do that all the time myself.

Thank you very kindly for the comments guys , but I will admit the gun isn't painted yet really , it will be repainted

Rest of the slots are filed in , pins added and mounted and sitting starting my in the face was the landing gear leg , the pipe and brackets I also replaced with brass tube strips of brass and .05mm hex rod for the bolt heads . Other then the rigging holes I think she is ready for primer and the painting stage . Well close to that . Still have to add the faster for the cockpit padding and the moisture drain holes on the lower side of the wings trailing edge .

Hey Gaz , thanks for taken the time to go back and read through the build log . Funny how something which started off with just basic detailing end up getting carried away .

Obviously what you originally thought was going to be an OOB has developed a little! The drain pipe and gun are really superbly detailed - just what we have come to expect from your stable.

Finally finished of the detailing for the air frame with lacing for the cockpit combing which after looking at photo's online . This seems to be done in many various ways and this is method pleased me the most , few more PE bits and all the rigging holes drilled , I hope ! For the lacing I chain drilled holes going around the padding and used fishing line of the lacing

Primer is next , touch ups and off to paint which is under way with the belts getting a coat of Tamiya deck tan and the first wash off Tamiya clear yellow thinned with their lac thinner .
