Bit more was achieved today with adding hinge details to the tail planes and bolt heads cot form .5mm and .8mm hex rod . I will cut the tail skid free and add a brass pin in this location as well . I sure it will hold the weight but the plastic is soft which might cause sag issues in the future . Once that is wrap up this part will get assembled as a unit .

Good progress here, Alexis.

Regarding the tail skid - the Roden plastic is soft but it has not sagged on mine. Where you will notice a bit of weakness is in the tail booms. I used Oshci standard elastic thread for cross bracing but then used nylon line for the wires that support the structure from the wings. The model still has a bit of 'bounce' in the tail but is definately strong enough to support the weight of the model.

Having to work under the cloak of night in a tiny shed , work continues with the tail assembly with rest of the rigging holes being drilled . The tiny mounting Locations for the rigging on the boom struts I removed and a small hole was drilled passing all the way threw . Haven't give much thought on how I will do the rigging , but at least the holes are there now rather then having to do this later . the rear strut is pin with brass rod and I ended up breaking part of the boom . The rudder is is glued the tail plane and once this is has set to dry over night test fitting on the booms will be next .

Looking fine Alexis! Your assembly sequence is interesting. I will have to keep that in mind if I tackle a Roden DH2 in the future!

Rick , in all honesty I haven't followed the instructions what so ever and all this I just winging it working with the space I have now ...I miss my huge work area . So I'm really not sure if this is the best way to go , time will time I guess !

Always worth trying new ideas even if it is to prove that they do not work! I suspect that yours will work though Alexis - and given the conditions in which you are trying to build this I think that you are very successful.
