More first class scratch building Ken. The undercarriage does look fragile - just hope that it does not get too many hard knocks.

Looking gorgeous!  More like an actual aircraft restoration than a scale model.  :)

She's got her shoes on and she's going out...

Testing the landing gear - checks out okay.

Still more rigging and detailing to do.
I've started working on a prop.  Two others from the parts box weren't going to cut it - wrong shape.

Thank you for the kind comments, friends.
I have all the major components done except for the prop, which is a prop blank at the moment, and the prop hub.  I'm focusing on rigging on the top wing and other small details around the fuselage.  Then the prop will be done and its finished.

Here's the last update in this thread.  There is only one more detail left and the prop to do.

Thanks to all who followed this build and for the encouraging words.

Detail of the pulleys and rigging on the top wing.

Pitot tube detail with Reggie looking on.

Engine mounted.  Reggie like.

Rigging detail of the tail.

General shot of the underside.  Lots of stuff here.

This has definitely been the most complicated build I've done.  I think the myriad of details gives it the authentic look.
On to the finish!
