Show us your - Pfalz Dr.1

Pfalz Dr.I - Western Front, April 1918
Another old kit, the 1/48 Copper State resin model. An absolute pig of a model but there ain't much choice if you want this pugnacious tripe. If we're ever lucky enough to get a 1/32 kit (?!?!) I'd have to laminate that big propeller this time round.

Cheers Terri. I am in awe of your current build of this kit. It's hardly a shake-the-box model is it?

Sandy, your 1/48 Pfalz Dreidecker looks terrific!  Very well done.

Apparently there is a 1/33 scale Pfalz Dr.I.  Look here:

Of course, it's a paper model, so you'd have to follow Dan's build log here:

 ;D

Best regards,

Bob

Thanks Bob.
I have great respect for card modellers. Many years ago I made a Wilhelmshaven card model of the Scharnhorst which took forever - the little Arado floatplane took weeks alone! Of course, even though I reinforced the hull with balsa internally, it warped and twisted out of shape. That kinda put me off the medium for life!
Chapeaux to those who bring 3D beauties out of flat card, though.
