Prez,
Can you tell me what you are using and how you are producing those excelllent hose clamps as seen on your water cooling pipes? It's an area/technique I would like to improve on, just can't seem to get it right.
Cheers,
Lance :-\

That has come together beautifully. Hope the wing tip strain isnt a problem. Will rigging ease this?

First let me say what stunning work Prez.

The lower wing alignment is a known issue on this kit covered quite a few times in various blogs, rather too late for this build though it needs the locating holes in the fuselage & the corresponding stubs on the lower wings  fiddling with to give enough freedom of movement to allow the tips of the lower wings to sit higher during the build.  Another issue is the moulding cast into the front of the fuselage former meant to hold the wing stubs is no where near deep or strong enough.

Hello Prez,

very nice progress. I only broke more color on the wings. Some filters. It would look better.

Cheers,

Vladimir

Thank you, gentlemen, you are very kind with me.

Lance, the hose clamps are made from thin strips cut from a sheet of self-adhesive metal foil.

Steve, I reckon the majority of strain in the wing cellule was transferred to the rigging and for now everything seems working fine.

Keith, thanks for your comment. I have not come across any report on the fit issues with this kit. Well, nevermind, I just upheaved the wings, strained them with structural rigging and it works fine.

Vladimir, thank you for your suggestion but I am not for too strong shading/filtering, which on some models seen in the web looks too grotesque, like ceramic tiles on the floor. I prefer subtle shading, especially in the larger scale as 32nd, where the natural shades of the surface details should overtake some role shading and filtering does in smaller scales.

Well, my work on this model is finished. Thank you for watching. More photos in the gallery.

She's phenomenally, outrageously, stupendously stunning!  Can I have her?
Cheers,

Thank you Adam, Bud and Steve.
I am sorry Bud, but my models are too dear to me, and this one as the newest - is especially dear. I do not feel like parting with it.  ;)
Steve, I reckon you found some close-ups in the gallery.
