Very nice, when all of this parts come together and starts to look like a aircraft - thumbs up!
Especially the wooden ones are a highlight.
Cheers,

Really lovely wood effect, the varnish has really made the grain effects sing out. I imagine a lot of modellers will be buying pencil crayons about now. Very inspiring!

must have missed this build somehow - looking great - I can only echo the others in saying the wood effect you have achieved here is beautiful and will be amazing on the finished model

Terri
This is getting better and better. When you went from paint and pencil to varnished wood, Did you brush or airbrush the "varnish"?
I am getting anxious to see the finished model, so take your time and let it all come together.

Terri,
This is one build that will really stand out. The colour of the wood combined withe the white tail and black crosses just "pop" to my eyes.
Looks like this is shaping up to be another great build.

Morning and thank-you guys
SP , the varnish ( clean orange ) is airbrushed on slowly building up the layers . I only brush paint smaller details and for different effects .
Terri , off to the bench !

Assembly has started ! First I did a wash using Flory dark dirt on the fuselage and once cleaned up I started gluing parts on . The extuast are not the best and I should have made replacements but it is what is and they don't look overly all that bad in the end . A sealant coat is up next with a bit more weathering with chalks and then it's the main wings and struts . So here is where I'm at so far . I'm going to re-paint the extuast , not happy with it
