All are great so far but I think Luke's machine will be my favorite!

Hiya Rick, hope you're well. I've been away for a while desperately trying to rebuild my guitar technique after breaking my thumb. The Spads are looking terrific. I still have a particular fondness for Eddie's bird but that's only because he was such an extroverted aventurer and I built (extremely badly) a 1/72 version under the supervision of my dad when I was 7.  :)

Thanks Richie and Great to have you back! You should have another reason to Like the EVR SPAD, Your Masks for the Numbers on the wings made it all Happen!

Thanks Frank! I think the Luke bird could also be My Favorite  8) I only hope I can get Three with one blow!

The rigging on the front is complete on the Guynemer SPAD. All that is left is the double wires on the rear, then painting the wires and turnbuckles.

Fabulous SPADS Rick!  I can only hope that my future models of this aircraft turn out nearly as well.  A magnificent effort, rewarded with truly fine results.  Very well done, indeed!

Best regards,

Bob

Awesome work Rick. Your Spads show just why these subjects are so popular. The Guynemer Spad is one I've thought of doing too and your model is strong encouragement for me to get going on this one now!

Figures really set off these models so well too as they give us a visual perspective of aircraft size.

Thanks for sharing with the Forum

These are all looking fabulous, Sir!

Top-notch work, real 'shrink-ray and a time machine' stuff.

Especially nice to see it done with middle grade kits, as well.
